Before we ask God to bless the future of Feast CDO United, let us allow Him to cleanse us. We bring Him our pride, resentment, unforgiveness, disappointments, divisions, personal agendas, and anything from the past that we should not carry into this new chapter.
Lord, Create in Us a Clean Heart
Lord Jesus, as we begin this nine-day journey, we come before You with humble hearts. Before asking You to bless our future, we ask You to purify us.
Forgive us for the times pride entered our service. Forgive us when our preferences became more important than Your will. Forgive us for resentment, comparison, jealousy, criticism, division, and unforgiveness. Forgive us for the people we may have hurt through our words, actions, decisions, or silence.
Reveal anything within us that should not enter this new chapter. We do not want to carry yesterday’s bitterness into tomorrow’s blessing.
Cleanse our hearts. Cleanse our relationships. Cleanse our leadership. Cleanse our ministries. Cleanse Feast CDO United.
Jesus, purify us and create in us clean hearts. Amen.
Spend a few moments in silence and ask: “Lord, what do You want me to leave behind?” During this novena, receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation when possible.
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit,
as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
Heavenly Father, thank You for calling us together for this new chapter.
Make Feast CDO United a home for those searching for You, a place of healing for the wounded, a family for the lonely, a community of disciples, and a people ready to serve Your mission.
Give our leaders wisdom. Give our servants humility. Give our members hunger for You. Give our families protection. Give our mission provision. Give our community unity. And fill us with the Holy Spirit.
Whatever needs to end, give us grace to release. Whatever needs to begin, give us courage to start. Whatever needs to change, give us humility to change. Whatever needs to heal, give us grace to forgive. And whatever You ask of us, give us faith to say yes.
Together, we move forward: One Feast. One Mission. One Family. Not for our glory or our name, but so that Jesus may be known, loved, followed, and glorified.
