UniteThat They May All Be One

“That they may all be one.” — John 17:21

September 8 Pray together at 8:00 PM

One Feast. One Mission. One Family.

Let us begin.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Reflection

Today is the heart of our journey.

We may come from different communities, ministries, generations, experiences, and backgrounds. Unity does not mean everyone becoming the same. It means that despite our differences, Jesus makes us one. Today we ask Mary, Mother of the Church, to pray with us and gather us around her Son.

Day 5 prayer

That They May All Be One

Lord Jesus, You prayed that Your disciples might be one. Today, we make Your prayer our prayer. Make us one.

Remove from our hearts the language of “us” and “them.” Replace it with “we.” Teach us to honor the different stories that brought us here without allowing our past to divide our future.

When one ministry succeeds, let all of us celebrate. When one servant struggles, let all of us care. When one member hurts, teach us to notice. When disagreement comes, teach us to listen before judging.

Blessed Mother Mary, on this feast of your birth, pray for us. Gather us around your Son. Teach us humility, obedience, and how to say yes to God’s will.

May we truly become one Feast, one mission, one family. Jesus, make us one. Amen.

A moment with God

Pray intentionally for someone from another Feast, ministry, generation, or group: “Lord, teach me to see them not as ‘them,’ but as family.”

Our Father

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Glory Be

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit,

as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

Feast CDO United closing prayer

Heavenly Father, thank You for calling us together for this new chapter.

Make Feast CDO United a home for those searching for You, a place of healing for the wounded, a family for the lonely, a community of disciples, and a people ready to serve Your mission.

Give our leaders wisdom. Give our servants humility. Give our members hunger for You. Give our families protection. Give our mission provision. Give our community unity. And fill us with the Holy Spirit.

Whatever needs to end, give us grace to release. Whatever needs to begin, give us courage to start. Whatever needs to change, give us humility to change. Whatever needs to heal, give us grace to forgive. And whatever You ask of us, give us faith to say yes.

Together, we move forward: One Feast. One Mission. One Family. Not for our glory or our name, but so that Jesus may be known, loved, followed, and glorified.

We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Lord, do not merely bless what we are building.
Build what You desire through us.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
