After purification and healing comes surrender. Today, we open our hands.
We surrender our plans, expectations, positions, fears, preferences, and even our own ideas of what Feast CDO United should become. This community ultimately does not belong to us. It belongs to God.
Your Will, Not Ours
Father, we surrender Feast CDO United completely to You. We surrender our plans, timelines, structures, ministries, positions, expectations, fears, personal preferences, and our desire to control what happens next.
Some of us may be excited. Some may be uncertain. Some may be afraid of change. Receive all of it, Lord.
If something we are planning is not Your will, close the door. If something You desire frightens us, give us courage. If we are moving too quickly, slow us down. If fear prevents us from moving, give us courage to step forward.
This Feast belongs to You. Your will, not ours, be done. Amen.
Open your hands and pray: “Lord, I surrender Feast CDO United to You. I surrender my place in it to You. Your will be done.”
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit,
as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
Heavenly Father, thank You for calling us together for this new chapter.
Make Feast CDO United a home for those searching for You, a place of healing for the wounded, a family for the lonely, a community of disciples, and a people ready to serve Your mission.
Give our leaders wisdom. Give our servants humility. Give our members hunger for You. Give our families protection. Give our mission provision. Give our community unity. And fill us with the Holy Spirit.
Whatever needs to end, give us grace to release. Whatever needs to begin, give us courage to start. Whatever needs to change, give us humility to change. Whatever needs to heal, give us grace to forgive. And whatever You ask of us, give us faith to say yes.
Together, we move forward: One Feast. One Mission. One Family. Not for our glory or our name, but so that Jesus may be known, loved, followed, and glorified.
